April 4- Easter Virgil
With the next pages of Song of Solomon: III. By Night On My Bed (2) and Psalm 15 "Who Shall Abide" (4) composed and prepared-for-publication, Harriet and I drive to
St. Joseph's on this Resurrection Sunday and thence, like characters in some cut-rate contemporary
Aeneid, in the driving rain, to the
moist-warmth Italianate world of Napa /
St. Helena's
Tra Vigne
Cantinetta
for
late
brunch,
lingering
through
various
changes of
clientele,
followed by a final quixotic walk in the pouring damp (what some people won't do for entertainment) on Dry Creek Road (ha!) at Wall Avenue (taking off from last Sunday's end) in the
Mayacamas Mountains
past an
upland
meadow to the
Sonoma
border (where one supposes the nomenclature changes to Trinity Road henceforth on the way down to the Valley of the Moon -- Love those names)... From here, home, general catch-up and some 21st-Century Music work.
