Finish printing out the Job parts and make the mad dash to Diablo Valley College for a double dictation and board harmony on Philip Glass's Satyagraha (Opening Scene) and Akhnaten (Love Duet), then through the Caldecott Tunnel to
Copy World to produce the published versions of aforementioned. After a brief diversion to the Oakland foothills, get steered towards
San
Francisco
(thanks to phone calls re Erling and Martha)
and
Pacifica
to drop off
parts and
score,
migrating
further
south
for
another Half Moon Bay wander, now from
Wavecrest
to
Redondo
Beach
Roads,
taking the latter past views down and
up coastward
to
the
cliff
perimeter --
a
transcendent experience for
most, if
not all.
Heading
back
north through
San Mateo,
San
Francisco
(through Ocean Beach,
Sutro
Heights,
Lincoln
Park,
Sea
Cliff,
and
the
Presidio),
and
Marin,
the
evening
falls
to
orchestration of page 7 Creation: III and composition re 5 Vespers: VII. Duo Seraphim (Part II) (the latter also to be part of John John John, Op. 183)
