March 2 - Where Were We?

Ah, yes, the gray light of Diablo and

St. Mary's in a dark mollified bloom of gloom for

Perceiving the Arts, and how next we went to

DVC, for

Henry Purcell's Dido and Aeneas: When I Am Laid, the passcaglic bass line for dictation, harmony, and keyboard-solfege --

then lunch at Elephant Bar, grading papers,

returning for

Music Literature, from Guillaume de Machaut through Josquin des Pres, some lingering for

make-up quizzes, with the anticipation of the

Renaissance Quiz next week. Out with Owen afterwards and home to Harriet for publication-preparation of Psalm 8 (page 7) and Song of Solomon (6).
